Pioneered by Giorgio Moroder, taken to new heights by the likes of Gino Soccio, and re-purposed for 21st century by Krystal Klear, this classic blend of analogue synth-wizardry and disco sensibilities refuses to go out of style.
Combining the best of dusty arpeggios, wacky drum-machines, epic poly-synths and a harmonic language that’s closer to Abba than Arca, we present an iconic collection that cuts no corners. We sourced the poly-moog original, recorded the cheesiest vocoders (Voice of Q anyone??) and saturated our beats exactly like they used to sound - all served with the MIDI, file-formats and file-structure you’ve grown to love.
Arpeggio Loops > Sensual yet powerful, ethereal and evocative the arpeggio is a staple of the Italo-disco sound. We present 25 analogue medleys complete with MIDI that any Italian master would be proud to put their name to.
Drum Loops > Hard-hitting, rhythmically complex and classically funky drum grooves and loops from a classic stable of analogue machinery. Expect pitched down toms, noisely synthesised snares and classic LM-1 drum samples programmed to perfection and served with all constituent stems at 120bpm.
Bass Loops > Funky yet raw, the Italo bass sound takes traditional disco shapes and imbues them with analogue warmth and grit. Key/tempo labelled as standard and served with MIDI files where possible.
Vocoder Loops > It’s the voice of cute! Spacer woman sounds and electronic sibilance as was the height of fashion during the hey-day of Italo Disco. Classic vocoder loops at 120bpm.
Chord Loops > Anthemic & synthetic, it’s the harmonic loop that says amore. 13 classy polyphonic keyboard files complete with MIDI counterparts where possible.
Pad Loops > The warm and evolving pad plays a big part in the sound of this genre, underpinning and structuring all the rhythmic material that happens on top. Authentic Italo-disco pads in a range of keys and with MIDI.
